The damn thing started melting, the fan was hanging over like funked and the plastic around it looked melted plus it was hot when I took it off the mother board...do I replace it or wtf?

Yes. When was the last time you dusted inside that thing? Lol.

 

Anyway, cooling goes, gpu is soon to follow if not already.

It was an upgrade, im running on the built in one now. It seems about the same...so what do I do? It's a pci-E type so there's not alot of room to breath so what do I do?

If the cooler melted but the card still works, you can look into getting an aftermarket cooler. They usually perform better than the stock ones anyhow. What type of card is it? I could probably find you one. Although you should take into consideration that the card may have been damaged while running with not enough cooling (due to it melting) so you might just want to get a new one.

I only paid like $90 for it anyways, it's a 8800gt one or something.

Nvidia 8800GT is still a decent card if you where just going to get another one, for that price you should also look at the ATi 4850. Look up some benchmarks and see which card plays the games you want to play better.
