Garnered scores in the 60s from most sites, a few 70ish. Not that I've ever taken the opinion of anyone but a handful of REAL gamers to mean anything...

Glitchy - alien seems to just magically float about controls dont seem tight at all.

Preadtor looks like he just does big jumps!

marine: Been done a million times better in the past.

 

Gimmicky: Death kills.

Once you have done 50 or so of them they wont be as much fun.

I loved the original AvP games they still give me the shits now.

My brother bought it. It seems fine. Though I can't stand him dropping the shotgun for the sniper rifle since he fights close quarters with the sniper rifle unscoped.

I played the demo... It seemed pretty wack. Yes, "wack"

 

The Melee mechanic is not refined. It feels like an add on to the original game design, as opposed to being built WITH the core engine. I'm just saying... it feels tacked on.

 

I dont know, it feels weird. I erased the demo within the hour I DL'd it.

I used to do that in MOHAA (very first one) youd see two guys dueling one with an SMG and one with a bolt action rifle - it was so realistic.
