Agozer
Okay, question time: Dead Space, Killzone 2 (and probably others, too) have this option to adjust the in-game brightness/gamma. Dead Space asks to adjust the brightness until the EA logo is faintly visible, and Killzone does the same, except with the Helghast logo. The problem I'm having is that I don't see any logos on the black background, no matter how much I fiddle with the in-game slider or my TV's brightness settings. Now, there's nothing wrong with the brightness levels per se, and both games look just fine, but the supposed test logos aren't THERE. Sure, a minor gripe, but is this a universal problem or just some quirk with my Killzone 2 Demo and retail copy of Dead Space, or perhaps something to do with how my Sony Bravia handles HDMI output? emsley
I've always found things like pre game gamma/contrast unreliable as long as you can see it I think its fine, when I think a game iss to dark (might be because of my old CRT monitor though) I just in the in game contrast
L.S.D
I can always see the logos when adjusting. Not sure why you can't.
Agozer
Yeah, tell me about it. And it's not like the logos suddenly disappear, either. Weird.
Inky
I dunno abou the case of the missing logos. but I always over adjust above where it says. I don't like dark games.
