R8 Final Day of bug testing

Garcimak any comments on screen rotation?

so far so good with the little I have tested today, in 270 or 90°, games plays well,

fit the screen, even the horizontal classics looks good in vertical.

 

edit : kung fu master runs also smoother with correct speed.

 

Just a thought, while game videos couldn't be rotated, when i wanted to check the screensaver mode display, it doesn't propose "Screenshot", only Game Videos or shutdown.

Yes, this is true.

I also miss the 'screenshots' for screensaver options.

 

But BP is already aware of that.

If it is not there yet, for sure it will add.

 

I am still at work right now, but I will be testing R8 in few hours.

I have to say that R7 is working great for me. I can finally play Darius and other 3 monitor wide games at the right aspect ratio in Coinops/Mameox. Thanks BP! Looking forward to R8!

how do you get the final burn cps2 core to work? On the last build I went into the romstatus.xml and changed Kights of Valor plus to launch the final burn core and it worked. ran very smooth. Could Martial Masters work off of the final burn core? I have a 128mb xbox.

Kights of Valor plus operates fine in CoinOPS.... and the answer is no KOV2 is way more cpu intensive same as martial masters

Thanks. How do i get the final burn cps2 core to work in r7 do i need to rename a Xbe and put it in the folder.

Hey guys is it possible to reassign the buttons in the the SNES and GENESIS games?

 

I'm using an X-Arcade Tankstick and the default layout just isnt practical for games like SNES NBA JAM TE.
