Sparda Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 (edited) you dont have to edit any ini to change your roms folder, BP put an option in the advanced settings, so you can set your folder, even if its on another partition.. Edited May 8, 2011 by Sparda

eparsox Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 you dont have to edit any ini to change your roms folder, BP put an option in the advanced settings, so you can set your folder, even if its on another partition.. I have used that option in past versions...but I can not get coinops2 to get past the scanning for roms that one sees when starting the program for the 1st time...after it scans it goes back to the start screen...when I press start it scans again then back to the start screen...even after deleting the babe/boob files in Ucayali Thoughts?
BritneysPAIRS Posted May 8, 2011 Author Posted May 8, 2011 eparox you will need to put one rom at leat into your roms folder....sorry I added a feature when it doesnt detect any roms it reboots.....(I didnt think about your situation...sorry just people complaining it locks up if as they try and move up or down with no games) what I would do is put one rom in CoinOPS 2/roms/xxx.zip .... build the build then after its runs...dont launch the emu or or will remove the save and rebuild due to the rom limits....I would then add all the rest of the games to your other drive.....setup in advanced settings the path then rescan....when you see all 2200 plus games are loaded you can play the emu Tonight I will set up a PSX/N64 thread...alot of progress is happening on N64 at present....I might change the save...PS I think pixel perfect is not worth it on N64 whats peoples thoughts.....N64 looks so much better in HD

ace9094 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I got Thrill Kill working in CoinOPS2 but I have the same buzzing noise that i get in Tokyo Highway Battle, Is it possible to turn off CDDA? PS if anyone is wondering how to get Thrill Kill working you need to keep pressing Green and Blue buttons as soon as you launch it.... This is because Thrill Kill would not load on a normal PSX... It was a type security measure to stop kids playing it (well so I hear) Dark im sure this will interest you !
