PhilExile
If you enable WIDESCREEN TWEAK (I think that's what it is called) it will compress the screen by 20% - unfortunately, in 480p mode, this introduces a very subtle distortion when trying to do pixel perfect. I'm not sure if it does it in 720p mode too. I just discovered this recently. Request: CPS 4:3 Mode I know that the native res. of the CPS games is widescreen, but I'd really like to see an option for this so that the CPS-1 and 2 games are displayed in 4:3 when in 720p mode. If there's already some combination of settings that can achieve this, please let me know.

PhilExile
Hey BP, I think a few of these are incorrect. I can check these, but not for a few days - probably Wednesday or Thursday. Also, some systems have more than 1 resolution - like the SNES. From the Wikipedia entry: "Images may be output at 256 or 512 pixels horizontal resolution and 224, 239, 448, or 478 pixels vertically. Vertical resolutions of 224 or 239 are usually output in progressive scan, while 448 and 478 resolutions are interlaced." Is there anyway you can code it so that the core sees the ROMs native resolution and doubles it (or triples in the case of 720p) to the appropriate resolution? I think it would make the most sense. (If its possible) Thanks again! thanks to Cospefogo http://fancyxbox.info/?doc=1&secao=screen AdamX(Coleco Vision) Width: 640height: 448 Atari7800X(Atari 7800) SDTV 480i/480p: 640 x 306HDTV 720p: 960 x 458 AtariXLBox(Atari 5200) SDTV 480i/480p: 640 x 480HDTV 720p: 960 x 720 BlissX(Intellivision) Width: 636Height: 451 (I'm not sure on this one) BlueMSXBox(MSX) SDTV 480i/480p: 640 x 480HDTV 720p: 960 x 720 MednafenX-NES(Nintendo NES & Famicom) SDTV 480i/480p: 512 x 448HDTV 720p: 768 x 672 MednafenX-PCE(PC Engine & TurboGrafx-16) SDTV 480i/480p: 512 x 464 (556 x 464 for very few games)HDTV 720p: 768 x 696 MekaX(Sega Master System, Mark III e Game Gear) SDTV 480i/480p: 512 x 384HDTV 720p: 768 x 576 NeoGenesis(Sega Genesis & Mega Drive) SDTV 480i/480p: 640 x 448HDTV 720p: 960 x 672 OdysseyX(Magnavox Odyssey2) Width: 640Height: 480 PCSXBox(Sony Playstation 1) SDTV 480i/480p: 640 x 480HDTV 720p: 960 x 720 Snes9XBox(Nintendo Super NES & Super Famicom) SDTV 480i/480p: 512 x 448HDTV 720p: 768 x 717 Vice64X(Commodore 64) Width: 768Height: 544 WinUAEX(Commodore Amiga) Width: 908Height: 624 XBoyAdvance(Gameboy Classic & Gameboy Advance) SDTV 480i/480p: 380 x 342HDTV 720p: 570 x

Is it possible to do this per game? I'd rather not change it globally each time.

justgoonies
I had an issue with not being able to play any console games until I figured out that COINOPS only looks for the console roms in the last directory listed for roms in MAMEoX.ini even though the first directory I had listed had the Console roms in them. Is there there any way to fix this in future versions?

BritneysPAIRS
bigbies video is a fake..... they keep trying.....even though they see its getting so far ahead of them now....and continuing on... more info later ill be back on tonight about way forward as work is going on in the background....on consoles and esp N64 if you used the gui to edit the paths....one says console paths....I may fix this but presently I dont see the point....the only real point is so people can add over 9000 odd games...this has been asked for....and if people really want over 9000 odd games it will require some thinking about muliple screenshot/video/console paths...
