Xbox - Spinner Control

Anyone know if it would be possible to get a spinner control working with the Xbox? Here is a link:

that would rock - I'd love to play some heavy barrel w/ that thing

one of these wouldnt be to hard to hack for the xbox as long as you can re-route the optical pickups to a usb mouse - although im not sure if it would behave in the same way
