Opinion's on Xbox Arcade Marquee

I have done this using Paintshop Pro and various images off the net and a Bezel idea i found at arcadecontrols.

 

I would like to know what people think and what could or should be changed.

 

The CoinOPS logo in blue didn't look right so I had to use ignite If there is a new Showroom logo i would love to use that

 

 

please rate out of 10

I like the button legend idea a lot, but the emunerdperfectionist side of me sees 2 'problems' that stand out :/

 

 

- Unless you also have a 360 or PC in there, the Gears Of War cog logo in the center doesn't really fit the theme

 

- The NES buttons are backwards, and the SNES face buttons are upside-down

Have to agree with previous post but in my own words - your on to something definately but haven't turned the correct corner "YET".

Stick with it but try some changes.

its a regular xbox, I thought that might be an issue... I was thinking of making the red trim green instead,

 

ill work on it some more and repost

The hard part will be finding a small list of PSX games that run near flawless on a normal xbox

I have listened to what has been said and made some minor changes to buttons and logo....

 

One of the issues I face is getting High Quality images to use. I could have a host of stuff from diffent games, or different company logo's like Capcom, SEGA, Nintendo etc etc.

 

I did have N64 listed but the problem is the hacked pads in the arcade machine use D-Pad not analog so I removed it.

This is awesome. I think it would be cool to have characters from all of the different consoles you will be sporting via emu (Mario, Sonic, MegaMan, Ryu, PacMan, etc.). Keep up the good work. Make sure to post pics of the final product.

Good job Ace, I like your rev better with Coin in red, it's going to be Awesome, neat way to present the different buttons config.

Thanks... This is quite an old picture, however I did have a few technical hitches that pushed me back from about 85% complete to 60%

 

The sticks and buttons are only "placed" there and are not bolted it, as the control panel is was not sprayed at the time of the picture.

 

To complete i need to do the following:

 

Connect wires

Connect coin mech

Adjust cashbox position

Add T-Mould \ Chrome trim

Screw on Marquee holder

 

ETA for completion September

The Problem is getting high quality images of the charachters...

 

I have done about 15 styles and settled for this one
