This is what CoinOPS users want as far as I can see. I will edit the list as new requests appear, and as stuff gets fixed, so that BP will never have to look elsewhere than at the top of this thread.

good list...keep it updated...light gun is out perminantly due to people issues it was put on perminant never to look at by me...ill insert a patch if someone wants it....I need a system beside each game please including arcade....I might create a thread and you can copy in position 2 and keep it updated....as it may get more support ill see how this goes ... if it drops off ill create one and give you a slot

Also could you see if he could fix sound on Judge Dredd and WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game?

Yeah if you can contact IQ_132 that would be awesome, as he's great with updating adding drivers etc. I love playing coinop's on my xbox atm, its such an awesome package. I would love to see some fixes for games that are already in, or games that could be added later.

its not as hard as you think to fix lightgun if its just calibration.... but this is on my to never do list....I think the files to do this are still in the source it just needs swapping and recompiling

Fixing light gun would be the biggest leap forward for CoinOPS in quite a while.

Your kudos and respect would go through the roof if you got it done - however I smell a rat when you say it's on your never to do list!

 

Alas, if you're not prepared to fix it - could you recommend someone who could (not +T+ this time!)?

anyone with that can compile code and has basic knoweldge and want to do it.... its pretty easy stuff...as I dont have it and cba was a pig head and said he would do it for you guys...I made a pomise to never look at it and leave it to him.......

 

he said he would prove me wrong.....and im still waiting on that and the other things he promised...im sorry if it wouldnt have mattered if I would have actually used it but as I didnt it was easy enough to just rem the code out

edit : my bad this one's already there, because sound option by default, nice gameplay on trusty xbox.

Also with R3, Backdrop is not shown when playing off side (egg SPACE INVADERS)

 

Last thought, one cool cosmetic feature we could have on XBOX for arcade games :

when 'CREDIT' is inserted, the front panel presents a blinking power led

and it would return to normal state if 'START' is pushed...

 

I suspect to be based on the counters of each game

to detect how much credits left would be impossible

but relying on the triggered buttons to achieve this effect

looks more realistic.

 

Edit : LADY FROG plays upside down in 90° vertical mode.

 

Edit 2 : ability to play more songs in background (maybe feasible with your xbmc integration)
