shin_nihon_kikaku Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 Please vote for your favourite Neo Geo emulator. I'm setting this poll up to help people know which is the best emulator. Please post to this poll if you know or like any other emulator and i'll put it on.
emsley Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 NeoRage is god and the sooner the ROM dumpers realise this the better.
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted December 23, 2003 Author Posted December 23, 2003 (edited) I've said it before, but I've always disliked NeoRageX MAME rules all for earlier roms and I prefer Kawaks for the new stuff......And Nebula sucks arse!! Edited December 23, 2003 by shin_nihon_kikaku
somecninj Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 Winkawaks is THE best for Neogeo(and cps1/cps2). Neorage is good for old computers or computers with really low-end specs. Mame is alright, but can be a bit slow at times. I never really liked Nebula, it does kinda suck. Once again, Winkawaks is the best!
Weirdy Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 mame all the way, it plays and renders graphics better than the machines at the arcade
emsley Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Mwa ha ha votes say other wise!Neo rage oh yaaaaaa baaaaaby!
FirebrandX Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 I find it odd that the best Neo Geo emulator isn't even on the list: FBA. Being able to compile your own version of the fastest Neo Geo emulator makes it hands-down the winner. After downloading Samurai Showdown 5, it took me a mere 10 minutes to write a driver for it in FBA. No hacks, no patches, no searching for a bypass loader. Just clean FLAWLESS emulation of the game. I've deleted my neoragex, nebula, and kawaks emmies. Don't need them anymore.
Spiffy Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Winkawaks good, mame's better but i would prefer NeoRageX though P.S Nebula really suck ..
Observer Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 neoragex because of dipswitchesthen kawaks comes second
Weirdy Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 mame has dipswitches too. Actually, all of the emu's have dipswitches, every arcade has em.
