XMV2WMV Alpha

This is a little converter when used in conjunction with VLC Player

Can convert XMV to WMV8. With full playback on XBOX, VLC and WMP

 

use

Open VLC Player and click on Media. Now click on convert

and pick the XMV to be converted. For output choose WMV.

This will partialy convert the file resulting in a .PS file.

Put this file in a folder with WMV2XMV Alpha. Double click the exe

and let it do its thing. This will finish the conversion of the PS file

resulting in a WMV8 video

 

Please be aware this is still a work in progress, and cannot guarantee

a 100% conversion success rate. That being said in my testing it appears to work

quite well
