Has anyone noticed lately that anything you buy now states it is using some form of advance something? Let's say you buy some shoes. Somewhere will more than likely be a message stating that these said shoes are equipped with the latest advance shoe tying technology or whatever. Or maybe a burger with advance ketchup saturation. Pens will now have advance shirt pocket clips.

Just noticed this thread. Honestly, this is nothing new. It's marketing 101 and it's what got Sketchers sued to hell with their bullshit "Shape Ups" that we're supposed to give you six-pack abs.

 

It's very prominent with electronics. A good example would be digital cameras and seeing the "Full HD" sticker on it. Really? Full HD is a minimum of a 2-mega pixel camera which we've had for over 10 years now.
