I was thankful because I didn't want to have to download the entire rom zip again just to get the mame part. Looks like it does work fine. I've already enabled blood and set the video to display 640x480 with scanlines. Looks fine. BTW James, what was all that talk about this rom set being a "FAKE FAKE FAKE"? Turns out it was "REAL REAL REAL".

FirebrandX Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 There's no compiling, just edit the ms5mame.ini file. I use direct3d options, so I may not be of much help to you. Here's what I did: ### Windows video options ### 1. set direct3d to 12. set the resolution to 640x480x16 I also turned autoframeskip off and triplebuffer on, but that's because I have my card's 640x480 refresh rate set to 60Hz for smooth-scrolling. ### Windows Direct3D 2D video options ### 1. set the d3deffect to scan75 (I like mild scanlines, but you could try scan50 or scan 25 if you want darker lines)
