Seem to be having an issue with the software folder setting. No matter what folder(s) is set, after clicking ok it loses the information or is garbled. I know it was working fine in 0.169, just wondered if other came across this glitch?

I had heard of this problem, but in final testing it appeared to be working ok.

I can implement a patch for the next version. Thanks for reporting it. :-)

In the meantime, you can manually adjust the setting by opening the game's ini file (located in the ini folder), and adjusting the 'comment_path' (it might be 'comment_directory').

I'm sorry, I don't know if it's the same problem; I with the current version of MESSUI (32 on Win7) just I click on an item of any list software, provoked an emulator crash.

That didn't happen to me.

I've fixed the issue with the software item path, turned out it only broke if the path was > 15 characters, and I'm sure it's a bug with the new compiling tools.

At the moment I'm having trouble with certain Microbee clones crashing at start, but everything else seems ok.

Welcome AntoPisa, good to see you here. :-)

Can you give a specific example?

Problem solved ... I replaced the default .cfg file with a new one and everything works well.

Alarm back, thanks.

Aha, thanks for letting me know.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble with MESSUI crashing randomly since the new tools have been used. At this stage I won't be able to release a new version. MAMEUI is fine, no problems with that.

Hi, in the new MESSUI v171, clicking on an item of the software list, the emulator crash again.

It happens in the x64 executable, x86 works well.

It works for me, mostly, but sometimes it just closes randomly when you're doing anything.

I'm aware of it, but nothing I can do about it right now.

OK, found the problem of why the 64-bit was crashing. This has now been fixed.

It would possibly have caused random crashes on 32-bit as well, and would be triggered by clicking on a software item.
