MESSUI and MAMEUI 0.187 released

MESSUI 0.187 and MAMEUI 0.187 have been released and are available at the usual place:

There's no release of HBMAME.

 

 

Changes:

- NEWUI: Fixed memory corruption in the new software-list loading.

- NEWUI: Create and Load File: SWPATH now takes priority (fixed this time).

- NEWUI: Added Slots menu

- Media View: Fixed problem of garbage showing when unloading software

- Media View: Can load multiple slots before starting emulation (including software-list items)

- WinUI: Fixed various memory corruptions, buffer overflows and null references.

- WinUI: Stopped internal media slots from showing (fixes Neogeo crash)

 

 

Notes:

- The big change that breaks WinUI has been added to the 0.188 cycle, so this is it for a while.

Been working on fixing the history display and associated info.

 

Lots of changes have been done. You now get the basic machine info even without having any dat files. There's new support for gameinit.dat and marp.dat. Also, history for software-list items has been added. And lastly, the long-time bug of the first few letters sometimes missing from the display is fixed.

 

 

 

Heaps of other tidy-up work and reducing the incidence of crashes has been done too.
