As some of you may know apart from my Xbox projects i've also been working on the libretro

MAME-2003 sources of late and as part of that i've been using an ole MAMEox 72 Src as

my testing core.

 

I was just gonna throw it away but thought it would be a shame to just dump these

improvements so i thought i'd offer em here should anyone want to have a slightly

updated version of MAMEoX_v0.72

More Midway speedups added should give a nice boost to all the games

Added Williams sound core with the speedhacks for the Midway T-Unit and Y-Unit games

Fixed sound volume level saving for Mortal kombat II

Added sound support to Fire Shark and Vimana

Added sound support for Cosmic Alien

Enabled single screen hack for Lode Runner The Dig Fight

Fixed end of game crash in Double Dragon

Fixed random crashes in Rampage World Tour

Added protection simulation for Snowboard Championship

Added dsp handling for Driftout 94 and Twin Eagle 2 both games now playable

Fixed incorrect game logic in Monster Slider game now playable

 

 

Regressions

 

The sound is now broken in the T-Unit version of Mortal Kombat play the Y-Unit version instead

The sound is now niggly in NBA Jam TE just play NBA Jam instead

The above might be a price worth paying for a large performance boost..??

Please note due to lack of VMM in this Emulator not all of the above new games will work

unless you have an upgraded Xbox console and one last thing mind and delete your previous

save file before booting this up.

Just a heads up i included the wrong xbe's i meant to send the ones that had some further code
from myself and BritneysPAIRS namely the joystick version of Cabal which has an extra third input
button for rolling and the sample sound improvements for Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong JR.
