NES, SNES, Genesis via Mess ?

Hi guys,

I hope you are all well. Pls, I think that the community pays little attention or pays more importance to the "Standalone" emulators and little attention to the Mess Software list. I think the NES for example has improved a lot (via Mess) in the last few months. I would like to know if the SNES & Mega Drive has been able to achieve better performance than it did a few years ago. Actually, I wonder if it is worth emulating the SNES and Mega Drive via Mess. They say it impact a PC's performance, even to emulate a NES.

I would appreciate any clarification.
