They tell me that a sample package has been added in the latest HBMAME: "lsample.zip", is this correct? And if it's true, where can I find it? Thank you.

The official (but incomplete) package is at https://sfz3mix.github.io/download.html

but you'll need to do some renaming. The filenames for this release should be lsample and rsamples. In the next release they have been changed to sfz3mix_l and sfz3mix_r.
