Unknown Dump to a Mame One

I'm sitting here looking through my roms with romcenter and I see that alot of my roms are not compatible with mame but with other emulators like neorageX, kawaks and Nebula. Is there a way that I can take that same rom set and take it and turn it into a set that will work with mame?? Or do I have to download it again but try to find a mame set??

As far as I know, Mame roms can be made to work with other emulators, but NOT the other way round.

 

I guess your only option is to download the mame version of the roms.

ok thanks I guess I see why its so hard to get a complete collection of mame games especially when the new ones come out. I download and download and only get non mame games. Oh well thanks for the info.
