Elazul Yagami
juniel it was actually unheard of in most of the world. arcade owners weren't too keen to change their hardware or to buy the neogeo 64 hardware as the number of games weren't really that big, nor was support enough, nor were the games of superb quality. there is no neogeo64 console though, just an arcade board. Juniel
oh i see....so what happened to it now? did arcade people buy any of them or just left it there to rot??
Elazul Yagami
some arcade owners did buy them, but it wasn't sold enough to be considered a success, so eventually snk (during their bankrupcy too) turned their back on it.
alexis
Yagami is right, it was supposed to be a crack about 5 years ago though
Wizard
Turned out really bad. I was excited for SS64 and was hoping it would be at my arcade or possibly on the Nintendo 64( i was like 10 when it was annouced ).

Genesis
It's good to see the new hardware, but at the same time... I will miss NeoGeo...
Elazul Yagami
actually genesis, you never know, the neogeo hardware has been managing to survive through everything...it's the longest living piece of hardware in history of videogames. so you never know, it might manage to survive. zero129
I hope we will see a few more games released on the neogeo before it comes to an end, but i still thing its great snk are finally taking a step up and moving on to more powerfull hardware, after all the is not much left that the neogeo can do. just about all the games released on it now look the same as they did 6 years ago. Elazul Yagami
just about all the games released on it now look the same as they did 6 years ago true, and that's probably why the games are more playable than the majority of the crap released today. because they didn't waste their money making (l33t graphics)the spent it on good solid gameplay. besides, if snk turn 3d, who will we have left for quality 2d gaming?
