why has the neo geo ecgx final emulator got it saying alot of times metal slug when all we need on it is just metal slug games that we have not like hc1 and stuff after the name. can someone tell me why they done this thanks

Because EGCG has support for clones.

Then use an older version of NeoRAGEx, such as 0.8c

 

If you want to play SSV, SVC or Metal Slug 5, EGCG is all you got.

I REPLIED BEFORE ABOUT THE MANY METAL SLUG IN THE ECGX AND I WAS TOLD THEY WERE CLONES. BUT I DOWNLOADED IT AGAIN TO CHECK SOMETHING AND ALL THE CLONES HAD GONE. AND THEY HAD WROTE THE WORD METAL SLUG 5 IN THE LIST I WAS HAPPY. SO I LOADED MY METAL SLUG 3, 4 AND 5 USING IT AND FOUND THAT METAL SLUG 3 HAD GRAPHIC PROBLEMS. METAL SLUG 4 I THINK WAS ALRIGHT AND METAL SLUG 5 SAME GRAPHIC PROBS AS IF YOU WAS PLAYING MS5 ON 0.8C VERSION. WHEN DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEMS FOR THE GAMES WILL GO SO I CAN JUST USE EGCX AS MY MAIN NEO GEO EMULATOR.

And about the graphic problems in ms5, the first version that came out only worked in MAME. Be sure you don't use that rom with kawaks.
