Best megadrive emu?

I have some sound problems with Gens running on my XP...the sound becomes somewhat glitchy and stuff, but other than that, I like it.

Gens makes my PC go SLOOOW but it works good.

Try setting the frameskip to auto, there's a good chance that will solve it.

I used to use Gens....but it takes up 100% of my system resources (I have 512mb of pc2700 ram)

 

Now I use a emulator called Megasis.....its no way the best emulator and it hasn't been updated in 3 years but it does the job and takes like 1-3% system resources
