I'm trying to put AVI video files onto a VCD. I'm using Nero 6 Ultra Edition, and midway through the encoding process it gives me an error. Now, I've done this before and have had no problems until now, so I'm betting its the version of Nero that's the problem. If somebody could suggest a good VCD burner, it would be really helpful.

There may be some corrupt frames in the avi file that are actually causing the error.(That happens a lot with downloaded files) You can use divfix to check the file for corruption, and fix it quite easily.

If there are no corrupt parts, then try to encode the file with tmpgenc. I haven't had any problems with it.

I want to make vcd form an avi (compressed).

I have nero5 can someone plz help me with how can i do that with nero.

steps of how to choose the correct confifurations and ya where have i to put the avi files. nero displays different segments, where have i tp put my avi files
