Thunder In Paradise
Hey Guys. I was wondering what is considered the "best" program for spyware/adware removal. I'm currently using Adware 6 and BPS Spyware/Adware Remover. I recently tried Spy Killer, and that found even more junk then the other 2 did. (Anybody know where to get a crack for Spy Killer, btw? ). Oh, FYI, has anybody else discovered that Lavasoft Adware 6 has it's own adware built into the program?!?!?!?! Kinda ironic huh? Rag
I've used both Adaware and Spybot. I think Adaware is better. Its more efficient it seems.
Alpha
We had a VERY similar topic like a week ago. I think the "BEST" is Spybot: Search and Destroy.
vxneko
use a combination of them. if one misses, another will probably find them. using more than 4 would probably be overkill but you get the idea. adaware and spybot s&d are popular but there are more out there~ in my case, adaware missed a couple that spybot caught... ymmv. a solid antivirus is also a good idea if you're dl'ing lots of sh*t from p2p's. happy hunting~
AntiWinner22
I use Spybot: Search and Destroy; Fast, Lethal, And Sexy I also use Peer Gaurdian to even prevent the IPs of adware and ads in general from jumping into the fray. Anon.

Thunder In Paradise
Actaully, I wsa using Spybot last night, and since I also have BPS on my system, Spybot pointed out that BPS uses a stolen Spyboy reference file for it's core! So I'm going to remove it, and run it again to get everything off.
