random guy Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 I recently got a new gamepad for my PC. It is a "Logitech Dual Action Gamepad" - it looks basically like a PS2 gamepad - same dual analogue sticks, same number of buttons (12), the only thing it doesn't have is "dual shock" support, but oh well. There's only one (slight) problem though, I thought my emulators might have trouble with recognising the analogue pads, but in fact it is the opposite - the left analogue stick is "up, down, left and right", while the d-pad does nothing! Does anyone know how I might be able to rig it so that I can use either both or just the d-pad for some games?
Agozer Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 (edited) Does the pad have analog/digital mode button? Edited February 2, 2004 by Agozer
2eyez Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 my friedn has that problem too and it doesn't have analog/digital mode button.
Agozer Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 Have you tried looking at the gamepad settings in the Control Panel or somewhere else for changing the directional input?
2eyez Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 i'll probably have to do that. The probably happens on Kawaks but not on Mame.
Rag Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Ive got an Analogue too. Mines got precision buttons too, so when I calibrate i set them on and then turn them off in game. It seems to somewhat work. I still can't do hypercombos in SNK games with it though.
