I love playing Neo Geo games and I use NeoRageX for that but now I wan't to make those games playable in WinKawaks too, so I looked in the forums and seen something about dat files and glad I am that i found for it did solve some of my problems but not all. Some of my other games still did not show up in WinKawaks. I think i have understood some of the lines in the dat file like the p1,s1,m1,v1, c1 - 8 rom and CRC thingy but what are those other numbers stand for? Where do they get that? How did they find out that? Or Generally Ho do you really make a dat file? Pleeeeaaase help me!
Weirdy Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 don't worry about the dat file. The sets for the latest version of kawaks are the same as the sets that are on MAME, just look for the MAME set of those roms
