Gryph Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 (edited) I would like to see Lost in Translation win. That was such a good movie. I hope Sofia Coppolla makes as many good movies as her father. But I'm pretty damn sure that LOTR will win. It definitely deserves it, but I though Lost in Translation had a certain soul to it. Edited February 5, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
Alpha Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Sorry, I just had to add The Last Samurai because that was my favorite movie last year that I've ever seen.
Gryph Posted February 5, 2004 Author Posted February 5, 2004 Oh...well that was a good movie. I didn't add it because it wasn't nominated for an Oscar. A pity, but Cold Mountain didn't get nominated either.

Gryph Posted February 5, 2004 Author Posted February 5, 2004 I can? How? I don't see any buttons. Why don't you go ahead and do it. I'll start another topic of 2003 movie favorites.

I'll have to look at the user permission masks. However now I guess I'd vote for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. I kind of got bored after a while with LOTR. It was just too long. The real movie is even 5 hours! That's half a day for you.
Alpha Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Last SamuraiUhmm..please read the thread before replying. We just said, The Last Samurai is NOT a Oscar nominee.
