I would like to see Lost in Translation win. That was such a good movie. I hope Sofia Coppolla makes as many good movies as her father.

But I'm pretty damn sure that LOTR will win. It definitely deserves it, but I though Lost in Translation had a certain soul to it.

Sorry, I just had to add The Last Samurai because that was my favorite movie last year that I've ever seen.

Oh...well that was a good movie. I didn't add it because it wasn't nominated for an Oscar. A pity, but Cold Mountain didn't get nominated either.

It didn't get nominated? Ooops.

You can remove it then. ;)

I can? How? I don't see any buttons. Why don't you go ahead and do it. I'll start another topic of 2003 movie favorites.

I guess it's just me.

I'll have to look at the user permission masks.

However now I guess I'd vote for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. I kind of got bored after a while with LOTR. It was just too long. The real movie is even 5 hours! That's half a day for you. ;)
