Anyone try the NetPlay options in the Emulators??

Has anyone tried the NetPlay options in the X-Port Emulators?? I sure would like to try out Zelda: Four Swords sometime.

the multiplayer on xboyadvance dosnt work. The feature works fine in FCE and some others thats have 2 player support but xboyadvance just does the same as them so it dosnt really emulator gba connection. It just puts someone in control of the second controler and we all know there isnt 2 players on gba lol

Well that really sux I guess it takes some work to figure out the GBA connectivity protocol and then implement it.

 

Oh well, there's always hope in a future release.

he is talking about using multi-controllers with one game for games that play like that. for example, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo where one person gets the dpad and l button while the other person gets b,a and r.

 

this has nothing to do with netplay because netplay is like lan xbox games or pc lan games. i havent tried it yet either but i doubt it links and plays like that.

Tried Netplay using MednafenX_NES and SNES9Xbox, and while they work, are either very laggy or does not work correctly (SNES9XBox)

 

For SNES9Xbox, netplay isn't fully implemented yet, I believe.

I had success with netplay using MednafenX-NES, but it had lag.

Not a terrible lag... but annoying as well.

I tried NeoGenesis, and it was unplayable.

 

At those times, I was thinking it could be related to my poor

internet connection... Maybe it is not?

 

Bigby, what is your DOWN/UP link?

Mine is 1Mb down and 100Kb up.

It wasn't your connection Cos. Netplay is just laggy unfortunately.
