AntiWinner22
so, streets of rage 2 would have been $30 or $50?
stealthcat
carts were expensive, some snes games were around $70.00. so a $50.00 streets of rage could've been probable.
lancerx
VG still cost the same, 50$ average, only machines has increased their prices, i remember gettin a Nes for 100$, only NeoGeo as we know were the most expensive, even today you can find one at ebay for 300$. Gryph
NeoGeo console were over 500 dollars. I remember there was a local arcade that had a machine with Sam Sho 1 and 2 and you would have to pay 10 dollars for 15 minutes on the machine. It was crazy. Feyd Rautha
In 1990, I saw a $1300 price tag on a Neo Geo Gold system. As for the Genesis in 1994, $100 would be about right. The Sega CD and the 32X were expensive and just about not worth it. Other system's prices when I got them were: NES $150, Gameboy $129.99, Genesis $199, Turbo Express $299.99, Super Nintendo $149.99 the day it came out! Thanks, Base Exchange! Gotta love AAFES!
