Zinc tutorial

does anyone have a tutorial on how to setup and use this emu? its a bit confusing...anything is appreciated

Just get a zinc GUI (graphical user interface). I use Aldo's ZincFE. Get it at http://www.aldostools.com. Its a breeze to use with that.

i see... i dled the emu from emuhype.com and the FE. where do i unzip the FE? is there anything else i need to DL?

Just put it in the zinc main directory. The only other thing you need is "firmware.zip". zinc's bios rom. Put that in your "roms" directory. That's it!

haha alright...ive encountered a problem. the keys that the readme assigns dont work, except for coin and start...also if you could teach me how to configure my joypad that'd be awesome

There should be Winterblaster's controller plugin included. Just configure your controls from there. There should be a separate menu for it or something.

Yeah, if you've got aldo's frontend, just go to "options --- controller setup" Problem solved.

gee, just that simple. haha sorry. i have one more question, ive gotten street fighter ex plus to work just fine but when i load ex2 the game is much slower. what do i change under video settings to run iit faster?

EX2 needs quite a lot of computer power to run moothly. Besides, it uses slightly different hardware than EX. (EX = ZN-1, EX2 = ZN-2)
