Why do some ROMS appear at bottom of gamelist in..

Why is it that some of my Neo-Geo ROMS appear at the bottom of the gamelist in NRX even if they are named correctly? Is there something wrong with the ROMS or with NRX (i use EGCG version btw which is slowly starting to get better due to fixes for certain games being released)?

It's because the roms are not listed in NRX gamelist....Its normal

Well thats not a problem with me cuz i got the latest NRX and it lists all Neo-Geo games released up to this point. Some of my ROMS (MS5 and SS5) appear at the bottom of the list instead of their names being highlighted.....

if your P1 is different from what NRX expects then its going below the list and considers it as an unknown dump. you can still play it though (assuming youre certain that it works)

You can use a few hacks from poirot's respective sites (what were the links?) to get those two games showing up on the actual gamelist. Provided that they have entries in the list, of course.

Yeah those 2 games do have entries in the gamelist. Im using the EGCG NRX which i got from Neogamez (dont know if its the latest version though)....

The EGCG that NeoGAmez has is outdated (if it's the one with clones support)...

I can give you a link for the newer one, but if you want it, drop me a PM.

 

EDIT: Scrap that...I think you have the newest version if it has Metal Slug 5 in the gamelist.

u need the Ecgcg rom fix thats why Neo-Geo ROMS appear at the bottom of the gamelist... btw i fixed not all but some games to play in it in egcg vers..

Oh,i see. Guess i have the newest version cuz both SS5 and MS5 have entries in the gamelist. I havent gottten around to fixing my MS5 ROM yet (i know it needs fixing) so ill see if that works. Thanks
