The three of them walked into the room. The dim humming of

Roger's sword made enough light to guide them through the

room. Shortly enough, the group found a power switch and

turned the generator on. There was a series of beeps and

noises as the generator began to warm up to create power.

Soon, the room became bright enough for the group to see

what was inside the room.

 

"Oh wow...it's a lab." muttered Ghede.

It was a lab. The three began to scout the room looking for

signs of Shemesh or the Susita. They saw vials, test tubes,

beakers, strange liquids, but nothing else.

"Well I guess nothing is here" said Roger.

"Meh." Said Ghede as he started taking stuff.

"What are you doing?" Roger asked.

"I'm stealing stuff. I can sell these later." Ghede replied.

As Ghede started to take a Bunsen Burner, the rod made a

SNAP! noise and it broke off.

"Bad luck I'm having today..." Ghede thought.

"Come on. Theres nothing here. We should just destroy it." Roger said.

However, the wall behind them began to move revealing a

suprising image. On the wall was a big blue schematic. It read "How I will take over the world in five easy steps" By Shemesh. Roger started to read the schematic starting with the first one.

Step One: Get Rid of Roger and Slacil and their Companions

Roger said, "Well he hasn't managed to get rid of us yet...oh wait I missed some...Step 1a. Lead them to lab after they thought they killed me. Step 1b. Destroy them.."

Roger turned around to look at his friends. He knew Shemesh was here and was watching them. Rather than run, he continued on reading the plans.

Step Two: Gather the Susitas to harness their power.
Step Three: Eliminate the three Kingdoms with my newfound power.
Step Four: Destroy the Dimensional Gateways with a seal spell To prevent Divine. Favor such as ressurections.
Step Five: Destroy the Hidden Ancient City.
Step Mini: Absorb as much power as I can

Roger got back up and whistled. Then, schematics disappeared from his eyes.

"STEAL!" Yelled Ghede.

".....well....Lets destroy this lab now" Said Roger.

"Glady" Ryla said. She held her hands out and yelled, "Fire Blitz!"

As soon as she said those words, Fireballs flew out of her hand and flew everywhere erupting many of the lab equipment Ghede couldn't get his hands on.

"Eh..?" Roger said in disbelief.

Ryla Beamed, "I guess Slacil didn't tell you I was a sorceress, but I'm still learning my self."

 

"Very surprising" A mysterious voice boomed.

"Its Shemesh! Everyone get ready." Roger yelled.

Shemesh replied, "Thats right. You read my plans for taking over this puny world. However, I can't allow you to tell anyone else about these plans. Wait a second. Where is your companion Slacil?"

Ghede yelled somewhere in the room, "He died using a forbidden ancient technique!"

Roger thought, Gee Don't you keep anything to yourself...

Shemesh laughed, "So one of the heroes already took care of himself for me! I see you recruited his girlfriend. You people are no match for me.!"

Roger remembered Ghedes attack on Shemesh earlier and hoped Ghede was planning to attack.

Shemesh continued, "...Oh and by the way, I protected my heart with several shield spells so that attack won't work."

Damn...Roger thought.

Shemesh continued (again), "No more talk. You will all die now. Darkness Staff!"

A black staff began to form into his hand. Roger could tell it was bad news. He figured he should strike now. He began to use his long cut technique and struck Shemesh. Ryla began to cast another spell. Water began to swirl around Rogers

blast combining their attacks. It hit Shemesh directly, but when they looked, they saw a black sphere.

"Fools! If you can't defeat the weakest weapon in my arsenal, How do you expect to defeat me?" Shemesh said.

"STEAL!"

"What the...So you managed to get that weapon away from me. But you won't have it for long. RETURN!" Shemesh yelled.

Nothing happened...............

"What did you do with my staff?" Shemesh roared.

"I sold it on Ebay for 1 million credits" Ghede said with a happy expression on his face.

"...........well I don't need that staff for this. STASIS!"

The three adventurers were frozen in place and couldn't move their bodies.

"Haha" Shemesh said, "I will leave you here to die while I continue on with my plans. Even if you manage to escape, you won't have enough time to catch up to me!"

Shemesh casted a spell and he disappeared.

Roger cursed, "Damn theres no way out of this mess!"

Ryla said softly, "At least I get to see Slacil again this way...."

Roger said, "No don't talk like that. We'll get out of here."

"Hi guys" Ghede said.

Roger said in a confused manner, "How did you get out?"

Ghede replied, "I used ebay to buy a portable dummy of myself. It actually works. But I can't find anything to get rid of the stasis spell but I found something better. Angel wing!"

The three of them disappeared in the cold night.

 

 

The next morning....

Roger woke up and stood up from the ground. He saw Ghede eating breakfast. He asked Ghede where they were.

Ghede said, "This is Maldi. Its a large town with a thieves guild. This is where I learned to become a thief. We can ask for information here."

Roger nodded and asked, "So wheres Ryla?"

Ghede said, "Behind you"

Roger turned around and saw Ryla sleeping on the bed.

Roger sighed and said, "Well...I guess we have no time to waste."

Ghede said, "Not exactly. I bought one more thing from ebay. It traps the magic user that uses a teleporting cell into a bad torture place for an hour. I don't know where he is."

Roger said, "oh. Well I'm going to get out and look around."

Ghede got up and said, "I'll go with you"

 

Meanwhile

 

Shemesh found himself in a factory. He tried to cast a spell but it negated. He sat down and wondered, "Where am I? I don't have the time to waste."Suddenly, a purple pink dinosaur jumped out and said, "Hello! I see you fell into

the trap.

Shemesh looked at the purple dinosaur and groaned, "No not you.."

Barney the dinosaur said, "Yes me! Lets sing the clean up song!

Shemesh looked at the dinosaur and killed Barney. However, when he did this, he heard many many machines start up. 10 minutes later. Barney dolls began to pop up. After a while, Barney turned real again.

Shemesh exlaimed, "Thats not possible! Don't you have to say something for you to become alive!"

Barney said, "I'm automatic!" with a goofy expression on his face

Shemesh yelled, "NOOOO I HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS FOR AN HOUR!!!!" as the purple dinosaurs moved in to hug Shemesh.

As Ghede and Roger walked left the dorm area Ghede decided to give him a brief tour...

 

"To the left of the dorms is the mess hall, but it's guarded with powerful magic so we can't steal food at night..."

"To the right is the training grounds, it inculdes an obstacle course and a running track."

"Ahead of us is the main building."

 

"All of the world's best thieves were trained here, from me to the American Government."

"To the left and right are classrooms varying from stealth, to theft, to marksmanship."

"The several floors below us are prison cells, naturally, anyone knowing about the guild can't be allowed to inform anyone else..."

Roger asks, "What about me?"

"..."

Ghede ponders for a moment.

"I suppose you'll have to join! Once tested for loyalty you should be allowed to leave, so long as we check in eventually. If they never see you again, you may become someone's bounty."

Roger gulps.

 

"I'll see what I can do about enrollment, you go see if Ryla's okay."

Roger replies, "Roger..."

As he walks away you swear you can hear him moaning under his breath.

 

Ghede proceeds to the main office...

"Hey, long time no see, Ghede."

Ghede whirls around to see...

"Zyq..."

"Surely you haven't forgotten our bet."

"N-no...I haven't..."

"So then, what's your count up to?"

"...11."

"11? Ha! Surely you're joking. I'm already up to 24."

"...I've been, distracted...there's a lot of money involved! And trouble seems to follow these people like a cat follows a mouse. At this rate, my count'll be 50 by the next time we meet."

"Really? So who are these people..."

"...Just some travelers."

"Hmm...well remember the guild motto..."

"Speed is everything."

 

And with that final remark, Ghede left Zyq for the enrollment office.

 

The guildmaster jumps at the sound of the door opening, spinning around in his chair he relaxes when he relizes it's only

"Ghede, how nice to see you again. Have you been doing well?"

"Yes, I only stopped by due to some unexpected complications with a small adventuring party I've found. Real goody goods, and they're practically blind the way they pass up loot like that."

"Ghede...you know how we treat outsiders..."

"That's why I came, I'm enrolling them."

"Enrolling them...?"

"It's the only way I can get them out of here without the guild hunting us down, right?"

"I suppose you're right...we'll...see what we can do. Perhaps you'd like to visit the library before you leave?"

"Yeah...that might be a good idea."

"Yes...well, I'm sure I'll see you before you leave."

"Of course, I'll be on my way, ciao."

 

As Ghede leaves the guildmaster sits back in his chair. He presses a button on his desk and says

"Brandon, we have some unexpected visitors, they want to be enrolled..."

"Yes sir, I'll send someone right away."

"Make sure it goes well. It's a fight to the death. Either they're enrolled or they're entombed."

"Of course sir, I'll find them at once."

BEEP "..."

 

Ghede enters the library and decides to catch up on some his education...

Roger and Ryla where waiting for about two hours in the enrollment room, when the scribe called them.

 

"I am sorry for the waiting, but it was damm good coffee."

"In order to enroll, you need to sign this forms."

Roger started to read:

1. I will never hand over another registered thief.
2. I will never join or cooperate with the police unless I am:
  a. a mole.
  b. an informer. In that case I will be baned from the thiefs guild and join the informers guild.
3. I will never get caught.
4. I will never try to convince or force another registered thief to steal something that glows.

"Can someone bring me a microscope?" asked Roger.

Roger took the microscope and putted it on the form.

5. I will give the scribe all the money I have on me right after I will sign this form.

"No problem." said Roger, "Ryla, can you hold my wallet for me for a second?"

He gave her his wallet, signed the form, shoed the scribe that he has no money on him, took his wallet

 

back, and repeated everything with Ryla.

"Don't let it blow your head," said the scribe, "Everyone does it."

"Then why don't you just take this paragraph out?" asked Ryla.

"We need it to check out if you are smart enough to be a thief. Now just let me take your pictures...

 

say cheese... thats it. Now I will just put you in our database... now you are official members of the

 

thiefs guild. Have fun!"

 

So our advantured left the guild and headed to wherever the wind will take them.

 

 

Meanwhile, in the AKWPU (All Known Worlds Police Union) headquarters...

"Sir, we just managed to hack to the thief's guild computer and download all their databases."

"Good Gordon. Now sand it to all the police stations."

"Sir, I think we need to send Microsoft a reward for releasing Windows 4513 too soon."

"Good idea Gordon, good idea."

Roger and Ryla gathered their stuff at the inn.

 

"I wonder where Ghede is.." muttered Roger.

 

They left the inn (Taking some shampoo and soap because everybody does it) and went on the road.

 

Ghede soon appeared from a dark alley.

 

"Hello....lets get going, I got us some supplies for the next destination...which is Nalfag's castle...We need to get a amulet that was stolen from us."

 

Roger said, "Didn't you steal in the first place?"

 

Ghede turned around, "uhh yes" '

 

Ryla giggled, "that person has the word fag in his name"

 

Ghede chuckled, "Yea that guy gets pissed of if people mention that though"

 

Roger shrugged, "Well lets go."

 

They set off in the road when they were stopped by men in uniforms

 

"Excuse us but where can we find the city of the thieves guide?"

 

Roger pointed off tot he city behind him

 

The men thanked Roger and headed off.

 

Ghede said, "Hrm nothing suspicious about that, better follow them..."

The three adventurers hurry back to the town. Ghede took a look at the men and noticed they were wearing black uniforms with stylish hats. He got instantly suspicious.

 

Ghede decided to put a decoy of himself to delay the other two so he could get a closer look at the men. Ghede created the decoy and stole one of the men's wallet. He looked at it and it read, PPL, Police Protection League. Ghede looked in horror because the PPl was one of the most ruthless police forces around.

 

Ghede decided to go warn the thieves guild....

 

Meanwhile -

 

Roger and Ryla was looking at the Ghede decoy with question.

 

"Why did he stop moving" Ryla asked.

 

Roger took out his sword and slashed the decoy..

 

"We've been deceived somehow, I say we just leave without Ghede. If he can't trust us, then we shouldn't trust him....let's go Ryla."

 

Roger continued to walk but Ryla stayed behind.

 

"Roger, He helped us defeat Zolgan. We can't just leave him now. What if those men are looking to cause harm in his hometown?"

 

Roger lingered...and said, "Fine. We'll pursue those men and stop them from causing destruction."

 

At the Thieves guild....

 

Ghede rushed in the main office. "Zyq...We have to prepare for battle immediately..."

 

Zyq brightened, "So you finally distracted those two and lost them?"

 

Ghede said, "well.. they are distracted but I ditched them to come here first..."

 

Zyq leaned back on his chair, "Excellent, You were always my best man." Zyq pressed a button on his desk. "Send the squad in to intercept the two adventurers."

 

Ghede looked in horror, "You can't do that! They are helpful and trustworthy."

 

Zyq said, "I'm sorry Ghede. But Speed and Gold are everything. That is our motto and we cannot break that. They collected a lot of gold from that other realm we send you in. And that gold is valuable here since it is never seen before."

 

Ghede stared at Zyq and started to rush out when a needle hit his arm.

 

Zyq said, "I can't allow you to interfere. You'll understand later. The paralyze effect will wear off in 10 minutes..."

 

----On the Road back to the Thief Town---

 

Roger and Ryla were running back to town. Roger stopped and pulled Ryla back.

 

"Stop, I sense Something wrong here...."

 

Roger threw a coin on the ground in front of him. Soon, A net popped up and several needles flew towards the net.

 

Roger said, "This is a trap...Something is wrong here."

 

"Ow...." Ryla moaned...as she fell onto the ground.

 

Roger turned to her in surprise. He saw a man holding a black jack.

 

"What is this? We left your town peacefully." Roger asked fieriously.

 

One of the men said, "Lord Ghede has removed himself from your group, and we are going to steal your money now."

 

Roger shook in anger..."That traitor" he thought.

 

Roger pulled out his Sword and Prepared for battle..

Ghede: (Lord Ghede...yes, I like how that sounds...)

Ghede: This is Lord Ghede. They're too powerful for you. Run, they'll be easier to defeat here.

Lackey: Lord Ghede? Where is Zyq?

Ghede: He's...nearby. I'll have someone clean him up later.

Lackey: *Frightened* Right, Lord. We retreat and use the guild's superior defense and added men to defeat them. Nova Leader out.

Ghede grins evilly...

Ryla: What are they doing?

Roger: Stay on your toes, they're plotting something...

 

They glance at the adventurers and dash off the path in opposite directions.

 

Roger looks around, puzzled.

Ryla: They don't seem to be attacking...

 

Both lackeys dash out of the bushes steal the adventurers money and begin running toward the guild.

 

Roger: Damnit! C'mon, they can't get away with this!

 

The adventurers rush toward their doom...

I'm not sure how we progress from here, but I like my evil plot twist thing. I was thinking that it might need to be continued elsewhere, where we can post faster...or something...that irc thing maybe. Oh, and also, my new stats...(They were never updated).

Let's just only write the stats when it's changes. That way we can use fast replay.

 

Roger and Ryla saw the thieves HQ from distance.

"I have an idea!" said Roger, "No thief can pass out free gold."

"But we don't have and gold." said Ryla, "The thieves stole it.

"We can paint this rocks in yellow." said Roger and took out a can of yellow paint."

"Why the hack are you carring a can of yellow paint?" asked Ryla.

"When I was 8 years old," started Roger, "I reached to the finals of the painting turnament in my school. I lost because I ran out of yellow paint and I couldn't complete the sun. Ever since I am allways carring some extra yellow paint."

"What if you will run out of blue?" asked Ryla.

"Don't be ridiculous!" said Roger.

 

So our heroes began at their artistic task.

I suppose that would work. The main concern is that other players are forced to act in a method they'd rather not. We probobly won't have the same goal in mind...just remember that, and we should be fine.

Roger was finished painting the rocks.

 

"There" he said "...now we wait."

 

All of a sudden, A pink blob came over, ate the rocks, smiled and flew away.

 

Roger's jaw dropped.

 

Roger muttered, "Now I don't have any more yellow paint....well I guess we could always find some on the grounds."

 

Ryla sighed.

 

Roger started digging and found a treasure chest!

 

He opened it and found 20000 Gold coins and a paper that said, "Congratulations You found the Treasure of The Rich person who places treasures at the front of every town/castle/village"

 

Ryla said, "Well thats good enough...."

 

They put 2000 gold coins in the chest and laid for an ambush...
