Raiden 2 support in MAME is dodgy at best...Unless there's a hack that can play it.

Oh I see. When I play it, it brings up Diagnostic Mode for the game. I guess I'll have to search for a hack... The rom's been out for some time so I expected it to work in Mame. They tricked me! RARRH!

no it is not working. plus i am sure it says so when you try to play the game.

 

since there is no such thing as test drivers you will see non working games in mame now.

Btw, I don't think the BIOS for Raiden 2 is emulated yet

Yeah, I was just making sure it wasn't working overall and its just not the rom set I have. Thanks for clearing it up.

The major problem with emulation of Raiden 2 is that it is heavily encrypted. Apparently everyone in emulation that knows anything about encryption has taken a crack at it and failed...
