Alpha Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 OSLO (AFP) - A 34-year-old Norwegian who bombarded the US embassy in Oslo with snowballs after an evening of heavy drinking has been fined 700 dollars (576 euros). The Oslo district court found the man guilty of disturbing the peace and said the offence was particularly serious since he was a known offender, the online edition of daily Aftenposten reported Wednesday. The man had thrown a number of snowballs at the US embassy and policemen guarding the building in the wee hours of February 14.
