Correct filenames for metal slug 5?

Ive found conflicting (or at the very least confusing) info on this sute.

 

Should the files end in.rom, or.bin?? The reason I ask is because I d/l mslug5nd.zip (all.rom with _ underscores) and mslug5.zip, (all.bin with - dashes)

 

Also some files have a 'd' in them, eg 263-c4d.bin when in the file I d/l the file name for mslug5.zip is simply 268-c4.bin without the 'd'.

 

I am so confused.. all I want to do is play ms 5 on kawa x or FBA !! I have d/l these two files and cant see it, and everyone's talking about renaming files etc..

 

Can someone please take the time to write several short steps on how to get this rom working?

Those are my filenames, and it works perfectly in my emu

just rename them to what the emu wants
