i got the iso of bmx xxx, is there anyway to ftp the file to my xbox to play it, or modify it to run without having to burn it to dvd, then copy it to the hd? i dont have access to a dvd writer atm

of course,

upload it to your games dir and it should auto list into whatever dash you are running.

if you have avalaunch, use quix to transfer the iso over, otherwise xfer is ok too.

or you can extract the files to your pc and upload them via flash fxp.

well what dash are you using?

make sure your evox.ini file is pointing to the game dir your using, or whatever other dash it is, confirm its looking in the right place, and also, make sure your not uploading the.iso to the xbox, you have to extract it to the xbox. i havent used hddloader, but i assume you should have something that looks like this:

f:/games/bmxxx/with your extracted iso here

The best thing and most common thing to do is use XISO, extract the iso onto your PC HD then upload it into your games directory......

create a folder in games called "gamename" then dump the contents of your extracted iso into that folder.

***make sure the default.xbe is in that folder and not in a supfolder.....

i find the easiest thing to use is quix.

but you need avalaunch. i use the tHc dash and have ava as button combo launch whenever i need to ftp into the xbox.

apps like xfer/quix allow you to extract the iso on the fly, the GUI has entries for folder name, rename xbe, media patch etc...

qwix can be used with any dash. its only with avalaunch that you get a slight boost in sending the iso to the xbox.
