RM Files Convert Question

What free video & audio encoder tool could I use to convert my RM files to MPEG.

I would like to add a request to this thread. Does anyone know where I can get an ASF-> AVI/MPEG and MOV->AVI/MPEG?

Try using TMPG. Converts most files. Just make sure when your finding your file, change the option to "All Files"

TMPGenc encoded the file, but file had no sound once completed. Do you know of any software that can convert the RM file into a WAV file.

Theres options on the bottom right. Just adjust it so it can convert it with sound

StreamBox Ripper is the best software to convert Real Media to MP3 format

 

Its been discontinued because Real Networks threatened to sue the developer...anyways, it is very hard to find a copy of this...I will find a link and post it here...

What about Real Video files? can it be convert to other formatt such as Mpeg?

Try this program:

If the above is 404, try:

http://www.geocities.com/iq_132/temp/

It can convert RM to AVI

Then use TMPEGEnc to convert that to MPEG.

I used streambox ripper, but I think dBpowerAMP Music Converter is much better...u can convert rm to mp3, wavs....mp3 to rm, wavs...wavs to rm, mp3s.....
