Well...if you prefer bots over real people with real skillz...then you must not take your games seriously........

...Whatever. Anyway, I would play online, I just fear that it would really start controlling my pasttime...I've seen that happen to my friend.

Online Play > Single Player Modes....

I beg to differ. I've gotten all my multiplayer fragging fun with the original UT and Quake III. It's not that I suck at FPS, far from it, but after wasting so much time playing CounterStrike, I've started to hate all those online punk kiddies. I enjoyed

I still do play multiplayer games, don't get me wrong. But I'd rather play a single player game,

and then after I'm through with it, play the multiplayer.

Multiplayer has its place, sure its fun, but its just not engaging enough for me. But I do love multiplayer team games that have objectives. That's why I loved Counterstrike, BF:1942, and RTCW:Enemy Territory. And I'm looking forward to playing Onslaught and Assault on UT2004. But its more of the same.

And also, I'm on a crappy 56K connection so that's another reason I don't play multiplayer games
