ForceX
I bet you that the companies supporting this technology will just make an excuse and blame the manufacturer of the discs

Jiggs
No owner of a rental chain/store in their right mind would ever endorse this. Why? Because of the late fees. That's serious cash, and they'd have to be retarded and crazy on acid to even consider cutting out late fees. I'll laugh when a the owners of some of these companies lose their shirts in the effort to combat piracy. As my DC description says, "The Traffic Never Stops." Gryph
It doesnt explode, the chemicals screw themselves up making the DVD uselssWell no crap sherlock. I think we all knew it doesn't actually explode. But yeah, late fees are a huge source of cash for rental places. And since DVDs are the latest medium, there isn't that Not Rewound fee so they have to make it up somehow. But I make sure I'm never late in returning my rentals so they don't jip me of my money. Jiggs
None of the video stores around here had a no rewind fee. They just had a sign that asked everyone to please rewind the videos when they were done.
