This is Metal Slug collectors edition from ASIA.

Metal Slug 3

 

The menus and front-end for the game are in Korean,

but with a bit of trial and error, you can figure out what each option means.

Once the games are running, they are exactly like the arcade versions, with English text and speech.

Someone might get their kicks out of that, but seeing all the games already emulated, I think this is for the hardcore collectors only.

I think its just a last ditch effort on SNKP's behalf to make some more money off the old Metal Slug games....

its probably Mega's way of milking money off the old SNK games, i dont think SNKP has anything to do with this.

 

as far as i know Playmore only has rights to post-2000 SNK games.

Has anyone tested this? Is it a real port or just an "official" emulator?

It's a real port that's been released in Korea for a while. There's actually a couple other Neo games released similarly.

 

Playmore's name is all over it.

 

Want a laugh? Bust the iso and see that it's a emulator using roms downloaded from mame.dk (their text file is in the.zip)

If it's really using roms, maybe we could try playing other neo-geo games with it?
