1st. what is a crc? and how do i edit it? 2nd i cant find any.dat files

CRC is like an authentication code. It checks that the files haven't been corrupted during compression, for example. You can't change it, unless you know a bit about hex editing.

o i c, well o got king of fighters 98 and 97 with those hacks to work on kawaks. its hard to find the romset that uses the.bin files for 98 tho,
