File On My Computer Won't Delete!

I downloaded a file and when I tried to delete the file it wouldn't delete.

 

A message appeared saying:

Cannot delete: It is being used by another person or program.

Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

 

I scanned the file for a virus and found none, I've restarted my computer and without opening anything tried to delete it and that failed.

 

Is there any program the will force it to be deleted? Or some method that will delete it?

Check the Force Delete thread. There are good tips there for your problem. Make sure the file isn't Read Only.
