Win98 Or Win2k?

Right now I am typing on my comp. that is at 16 colors and 640x480. WinME f***ed me over, and now I am stuck in this mode until I reformat.

 

I can either use Win98 or Win2K. What should I use?

I you like better stability, go with Windows 2000.

If you want better compatibility and DOS, go with Windows 98.

Simple, huh?

 

I use Win98 myself and so far it has worked without major problems.

I personally use win 98 se and I'm pretty happy with it. I think in general people like 2000 better though. If you're going to format anyway I'd say just try them both out, see what runs better.

i'd go with Win XP ,thats what i have anyways, i think 2000 is probably better since it's newer than 98, but it's been a while since i've used either.

98se is the better of the two i think. i had 2k for a while but didn't like it. no dos, driver issues stuff like that bugged me.

Why were you even using ME in the first place, they cut of support for that thing 30 seconds after it came out.

 

If you want to run old apps that work on XP/win2k, then 98SE. Or you know, just use one your comfortable with.

Hey I use Me and uh, SOMETIMES it works really well heh heh.

No it's junk really, ditch it as soon as possible and go with the 98.

if it's a slightly old PC use win 98 otherwise use win2k

I have a REALLY $hitty computer. 63 MB RAM, 600 MhZ Celeron. Suckage.

 

Why ME? It was in the box. Too lazy to change, til now.
