Booting A Non-boot...

Recommended Posts

Easy i guess, first you need like alcohol 120 or ISo buster and rip all the data and stick it in a folder but there has to be a "1st read.bin" and a ip.bin file in the data folder. They you use that self boot kit found at dcemulation.com or megagames.com and select the folder and it will turn it into a selfboot cdi. let me find the tutorial shiba gave me

Here it is, use the search you dork!!!

Ive uploaded a good tool to my crappy webspace at geocities, if its slow, its their fault, but its not that big a file

anyway, its pretty straightfoward, use Selfboot.exe for making plan files into Selfboot images and Sbootrick.exe if your burning something like an emulation CD (i think it renames the files for you, i forget exactly)

If you need the plain files from an image go to www.megagames.com and get Daemon's Tools, or use Alchohol 120% or whatever you want to have virtual CD-ROM Drives, then copy and paste the files over to a folder

Or use whatever program you want to just extract the files (ISO Buster i think works sometimes)

Anyway you just put all the files into a folder and then select the folder with this program, DONT put the folder in the same directory as this thing

Use the "self-boot kit"

Bin2boot should work fine. You can use it on ISO and CUE/BIN files, but not images with multi track (if you get the one from MegaGames). I could upload the CDDA version, if you need it. You can't use the bin2boot for CDDA with BIN files that have the CDDA in them (just use binchunker).
