Ever Been Port Scanned?

Yeah, this topic blows, but I am bored. I just got port scanned by some guy in Europe! I always get scanned on weekends. I don't know.

i dont even check, no one bothers to hack dialupers because it would take forever to accomplish anything

I wouldn't know. Maybe. I have a firewall, but I don't know if it actually does anything, besides just sitting there.

I have all of my ports blocked except the ones that send data out. I do not allow data to be sent to my pc.

 

I have a router with an inbuilt hardware firewall plus, I use my old notebook as a second firewall...

 

I am gonna mod one of my DC's into a firewall as well soon

How you are going to mod your DC into a firewall if it can only have one eithernet port max? Unless your going to do some serious modding, or perhaps a cable splitter would work.

Well it does pop up sometimes and say "we have detected and blocked a connection attempt" or something, I guess that could be the cause
