Gryph
Well here's some more news that the Gamecube is going down the toilet. Factor 5, the people that made Rouge Squadron, is stopping production for the Gamecube and focusing on other platforms. In a conversation with IGNcube today, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht said the company would not develop any more titles for Nintendo's GameCube console. The studio is currently creating software for other platforms. Eggebrecht would not say what titles were in development at Factor 5 nor would he talk specifically about what platform they might appear on. However, at the Game Developers Conference 2004 Eggebrecht was spotlighted as one of the studio heads very keen on Sony PSP development.
Shibathedog
poop heads, if only they realized if they ALL kept developing games, there would be more good games, and more sales, and the sales would go back up
ForceX
If you guys see the amount sale figures of the N64 and PS you will see that the N64 was outselling the PS but as soon as SquareSoft announced FF7 on PS, everyone started to buy PS's, but overall the N64 was not a failure.... ForceX
Why are you hating Sony when MS advertises the xbox hardcore as well.... Anyways, the kids nowadays don't appreciate gameplay...they prefer blood, guts and sex... Super Mario Bros. doesn't have the greatest graphics but damn it is an awesome game to play... Super Mario Bros. doesn't have the greatest graphics but damn it is an awesome game to play...That was at the time when PS2 and DC were having a little console war. THe only reason PS2 won because they were advertising the hell outta it. Now Gates'box does the same too And for kids liking blood, sex and whatever thank Grand theft Auto. I never said any of N64 games were bad. I loved Nintendo's games but PS1 had an Ultimate 3rd party line up. Prican25
well thats for good reaon since it was nintendo's dumb decision to stick with carts when cds were the better choice in which it lost a lot of support and squaresoft being the biggest hit to them (can you imagine a 17 cart version of ff7 ) as for dc vs ps2, it actually lost to ps1 and not ps2
random guy
(can you imagine a 17 cart version of ff7 )that's the best argument I've hard for why it was a baaaad idea to put a cartridge system on the n64.
