Weirdy Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Does anyone know which games have that mod-chip protection on them? I know the capcom games from the late 90's have em, but I'm just wondering cause there are some games I have that just won't boot and the images of them on the comp don't show them as having errors(for ex, Destrega).
Agozer Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 http://www.megagames.com has a list of protected games.

That's one hell of a good site for all kinds of protection info.
Weirdy Posted April 17, 2004 Author Posted April 17, 2004 then I guess Destrega is an incompatibilty for the PS2
lockshaw13 Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Well some games that don't appear on that list, like Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 don't boot up in a PS2 when doing the swap trick either....
