Yes, that was it! It was a nice alternative to Doom at the time!!

Those games may be dead to others, but they ain't dead to me. I love them. The R-Type series is by far my favourite. R-Type Leo rocks!

 

Tyrian and Raptor were good, Tyrian was really great.

 

Recently, a company made one, like a few years ago. It had really cool graphics. You played an alien spaceship, and you had to destroy earth. I wish I could remember it's name, but I can't. "The Scourge," perhaps?

I liked it to, but too bad games like that aren't apreciated anymore, right?

I still have this shooter called "The Reap" it owns. Raptor: Call of the Shadows and Tyrian 2000 are excellent too.

Tyrian 2000 is still my favorite because of all of the ships, weapons, and powerups. There's nothing cooler than flying as the Carrot Ship and shooting hot dogs and bananas.
