Shibathedog Posted May 8, 2004 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I want to make a counter strike server, i already have a server i can FTP to and stuff, are there any server files or something i can upload to that server to make it so it can host counter strike games? Somone help me out, the server is a Linux Server and im on a windows machine so i cant do any decompiling or anything here, just uploading and configuring and junk but if i need to i can use my linux PC at home to do it. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ken_cinder Posted May 9, 2004 Share Posted May 9, 2004 You will need ROOT account access on the server as well as SSH access to the server in order to do this. If you don't know what either 1 is, scrap the idea entirely. If you are working from a Windows workstation, PuTTY is one of the best SSH clients for Windows, as well as being FREE.
