Changing.avi Into.dat

As you all know.dat files are the only files you can place in a VCD, and you usually download.avi files from net, and if I want to watch it as a VCD, how do I do it?

Get TMPGEnc. I forgot the link, so Google for it.

For one to make VCD's, it's not a "dat" file pre se, it's just an mpg file. TMPG will work best.
